Women’s Health Physiotherapy encompasses everything pelvic floor, pelvic and pregnancy-related in women throughout all life stages. Common conditions which we can help with include (but are not limited to):
Bladder issues: Incontinence, frequency, urgency, after voiding dribble, difficulty emptying or bladder pain.
Bowel issues: Incontinence, frequency, urgency, constipation, or pain in the anus or abdominal region.
Pelvic Organ Prolapse, commonly felt as a heaviness, dragging or bulging sensation.
Pelvic Pain & Sexual Dysfunction: Pain in the pelvic region which is commonly seen with sexual intercourse, use of tampons, tight clothes or hard chairs. This pain may occur alongside endometriosis, painful periods or poly-cystic ovaries.
Pre or Post Surgery: Hysterectomy, Anterior or Posterior Vaginal Wall Repair, Laparoscopy for endometriosis or any gynecological conditions.
