What’s included in the MOVE Postpartum Program?

Workouts

  • 8 level progressive program to take you from early postpartum right through to full fitness

  • Four tailored workouts per week with classes varying from 10 - 40 minutes

  • All classes incorporate pelvic floor muscle training

  • Save your favourite workouts so that you can repeat them multiple times (my favourite to re-do is the stretch and release class!)

  • You can also search the classes in the ‘On-Demand’ tab to pick and choose your own workouts too.

  • Join anytime along your postpartum journey - I always recommend starting at level 1

Educational Content

Start the program with educational videos on the core, pelvic floor and abdominal muscles, then participate in a practical to check for diastasis recti, and that you are activating your pelvic floor correctly.

  • Featuring additional educational content on:

    • Advice for recovery in the first six weeks postnatal

    • Returning to exercise after your birth

    • C-section scar massage

    • Healing diastasis recti

    • Managing prolapse symptoms

    • Healthy bladder habits, and how to stop leaking when you cough, sneeze and lift!

    • Healthy bowel habits

 FAQs

  • Yes you can! This is suitable to begin the moment you get home from the hospital. It includes the type of exercises I would give my patients to rehabilitate and stay pain and ache-free.

  • You have 3 options at the moment:

    1. 9 Week POSTPARTUM Program - Coming Early 2024 - Jess will be filming along her own postpartum journey through a series of Pilates classes and educational videos.

    2. ELEVATE YOUR FLOOR Program - Suitable to begin from 6 weeks postpartum. Comprised of follow-along workouts as opposed to on-demand Pilates classes.

    3. Find your own class in the On-Demand Library, which includes 50+ “Postnatal Safe” Pilates Classes. All classes have modifications for all levels of fitness/weeks postnatal.

  • Yes it is recommended that you have had medical clearance to start exercising (usually happens around 6 weeks postnatal) to join this program

  • As long as you are postpartum - 6 week or 5 months does not matter - I would still start at the beginning of the program.

  • I would highly recommend aiming to complete all the classes each week before moving onto the next. If you only complete 2 classes in a week, I would split each week over two weeks. Then I would assume the program would take twice as long to complete.

  • I would move onto the on-demand library and pick your own workout flavour!!

    In the future I plan to add a fitness program when I get to that stage myself.
